I’m Starr, wedding, lifestyle and portrait photographer serving Southeast Saskatchewan. I love all things adventure, am always dancing to my soundcloud playlist and lead a full and passionate life!
If everyone has a super power, mine is the ability to bring out the best in people with a camera. To see the extraordinary in everyday life and the life in extraordinary days! I believe that it's one of life's greatest pleasures to make a living from something you love so much and I've been lucky enough to do this since 2009. I love creating beautiful images, but more importantly, I love serving families and individuals in creating stunning portraits. I truly believe pictures are treasures and memories are gold!

When I’m not behind my camera you can find me a wearing graphic tees, kimonos & kitten heels (to make me taller) while avoiding laundry and re-writing my to-do list. If you ask me, I will tell you the story about how I ended up living in my hometown after a decade in the big city. My favourite color is any shade of green and my best friend and I started as penpals at age 9. My husband and I designed and built our dream home...took 11 months and our marriage survived it. I’m known for finding an excuse to have ice cream with my three outgoing kids almost every day. I'm all about new adventures...summer boat rides, hiking unknown trails and winter sledding. I'm always planning a date night to the movies or painting mixed media art while watching Netflix.

I love the smell of the mountains and the wide open spaces of the prairies. You can find me living-it-up in small town Saskatchewan with one husband, two red heads, a brunette with glasses and an adopted dog name Piper.
I’m starting my 8th season as a professional photographer and this job at times feels like a DREAM! My goal in life is to help people see the best in themselves and capture it.

You could say that my style is a natural...capturing real moments with a hint of lighthearted emotion...this is what defines life & love and really speaks to me as an artist. I also love to suggest playful gestures to evoke movement and then pull back to capture that epic laugh or smile. I’m here to give lots of help leading up to your session, wardrobe styling assistance, location planning and help with choosing what print products would look best in your home from your session. I’m there to help every step of the way.
